1982 -1985 Porsche 944 - Bosch ML1.2   All chips are shudder fixed  

The Early 944 US version use an O2 sensor and Catalytic Converter.   The ROW version does not.

These Bosch ML1.2 model DMEs were built with O2 Sensor capability.
 Rev limit 7,000rmp. or stock chip rev limit of 6,500rpm              All chips are shudder fixed
Minimum US octane rating - 89 
 
Tech:   Early 944 DMEs Compatibility issues... Do not use Euro chips in US DMEs.  
Early 944 DMEs for use in the US/Canada/Japan are not compatible with Euro/ROW DMEs. The DME calibration for fuel is very different. 
Euro/Row DME chips and US DME chips are not interchangeable.
 

PowerPROM Versions - a brief description of the different PowerPROM available.

"Race Chip" - Performance chip without O2 sensor. 
                           Best for all around performance.

"Lambda Chip" - Performance chip with functioning O2 sensor.

 
Tech:   Early 944 DMEs Compression Ratios  
Euro/ROW engines have a high Compression Ratio of 10.6:1 while US engines have a ratio of 9.5:1
